EPL: Nacho to join new club on two-year deal -

Arsenal defender, Nacho Monreal is set to join Real Sociedad on a two-year contract with an option for a further year, according to Marca.

Real Sociedad have reportedly reached an agreement with Arsenal over a deal for Nacho.

DAILY POST had reported over the weekend that Arsenal manager, Unai Emery, hinted that Nacho Monreal will leave the club in the coming days.

“Nacho made a very big match, he’s a big professional for us. We need to speak in the next days.

“In Europe the transfer window isn’t finished.

“We are going to speak about all the possibilities,” Emery said.

Monreal started for the Gunners as they lost 3-1 to Liverpool in Saturday’s late kick-off in the Premier League.

The 33-year-old kicked off his professional career at Osasuna before moving to Malaga and then England where he spent the last seven seasons with Arsenal.
