Nigeria defender Ola Aina is nearing a return to action after his injury layoff, DAILY POST reports.
Aina was pictured in training at Nottingham Forest’s training ground on Thursday for the first time since undergoing surgery for a hamstring injury in September.
The 29-year-old sustained the injury during Nigeria’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matchday eight clash with Bafana Bafana Bafana of South Africa.
The full-back hobbled off the pitch in the 10th minute of the encounter.
His return will be a big boost for the Tricky Trees, who have endured a poor start to the new season.
