Super Eagles striker, Kelechi Iheanacho, came off the bench to help his team secure yet another win in the EFL Championships, Soccernet.ng reports.

Leicester City under Italian manager, Enzo Maresca, have the record for the best ever start by a team in the second division of English football.

The Foxes started the game at Loftus road with a front three of Jamie Vardy, Stephy Mavididi and Abdul Fatawu, with Iheanacho on the bench and Wilfred Ndidi missing out due to a muscle injury.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was at his creative best once again. His pass found the 25-year-old winger on the edge of the box and Mavididi placed his shot into the bottom corner to take Leicester a goal up.

QPR levelled the scores with five minutes to go to half time through Andre Dozell. A header from Lyndon Dykes fell was blocked, and the ball fell kindly to Dozell who tapped it home.

Leicester continued to dominate possession in the second half, allowing the home side to have just 21% of the ball, before Maresca pulled Cesare Casadei out, replacing the Italian with Kelechi Iheanacho.

A minute later, Mavididi turned provider, laying the ball to Harry Winks, who slammed his shot from outside the box jntk the top right corner and was just enough to seal three points for the away side.

Leicester are just a point short of the 40-point mark, amassing 39 in fourteen games so far this term.
