Dr Abati teases Barcelona players for running as Espanyol fans halt premature celebration

Reuben Abati has reacted to the incident that happened over the weekend in Spain after Barcelona clinch the title in Espanyol.

Barcelona after defeating local rivals Espanyol 4-2 away celebrated their victory in style in the middle of the park.

The celebrations, however, ended prematurely as fans of Espanyol jumped unto the pitch and appear to want to attack the celebrating Barcelona players.

Players of the Catalan club took to their heels upon citing the charged crowd.

Dr Abati shared his opinion on the matter.

He said: "Laporta is likely to beat his chest and say that well he is doing something right to turn the team around. 27th championship title which means they have been able to go ahead of Real Madrid. But as your point out, the sorry part of it was the threat by over 100 fans who stormed the pitch and the Barcelona players had to pick race down the tunnel."
