Watford forward, Emmanuel Dennis featured for the Hornets in their first Championship game on Monday, August 1.
Rob Edwards' side recorded a slim 1-0 win against Sheffield United on Monday night at the Vicarage Road.
Nigerian international Dennis teamed up with Sar to set up Joao Pedro for what turned out to be the only goal of the game.
Dennis, who was Watford's best performer last season played the full 90 minutes of the game.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Vicarage Road following their drop to the EFL Championship.
Premier League clubs like Everton, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United have reportedly shown interest in the ex-Club Brugge forward, however his suitors are yet to make an official bid for him.
Meanwhile, Dennis' Super Eagles teammates William Troost-Ekong and Maduka Okoye were missing in action.
While Troost-Ekong saw the game from the bench, Okoye was not part of the matchday squad.
