David Okereke records first Club Brugge goal of the season

David Okereke and Emmanual helped Club Brugge triumph 4-1 over Waasland- Beveren in the Belgian jupiler league on Saturday.

Ths super eagles duo were part of the line-up for the Phillipe Clement’s team, however, it was only Okereke who got on the score sheet.

The goal was David Okereke’s first goal of the season for the club and he has played four matches in total, said.

The former Italian based striker scored Brugge’s third goal of the game five minutes after the break, while Dennis was yellow-carded in the 71st minutes of the encounter.

Both players were replaced in the last quarter of the game, Senegalese forward Kreppin Diatta came on for Okereke, while Charles De Ketelaere took the place of Emmanuel Denis.

Meanwhile, Hans Vanekan ( brace ) and Michael Krimencik scored the other goals for Club Brugge and Daan Heymans netted the consolation goal for the visitors.
