Super Eagles legend Austin Jay-Jay Okocha has waded into the conversation surrounding Victor Osimhen’s future.

Osimhen is expected to leave Napoli on a permanent transfer this summer.

The 26-year-old had a remarkable season with Galatasaray last season after joining the Turkish club on a season-long loan last September.

The Super Eagles striker netted 37 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions, guiding the Yellow and Reds to the Super Lig title and the Turkish Cup.

The former African Footballer of the Year also won the Golden Boot award in the Super Lig with 26 goals in 30 appearances.

Speaking on the rumours surrounding the Nigerian striker, Okocha advised Osimhen to make the decision that is good for him and his family.

“The decision should be his. Whether it goes well or not, he must own it,” Okocha told Sport 247.

“I don’t believe in deciding someone’s future. He should choose what’s best for him and his family.”
