Chidera Ejuke’s goal buries CSKA Moscow against city rival Spartak Moscow

Nigerian winger, Chidera Ejuke recorded his first goal for his new club, CSKA Moscow as they defeated rivals, Spartak Moscow on Sunday.

Despite coming off the bench in the dying minutes of the game, the wingers goal buried any chances of recovery from Spartak.

Spartak Moscow took a shock lead in the 11th minute after Ezequiel Ponce capitalized on a poor defending by the home side.

The hosts, however, restored the parity in the 30th minute with Hoerdur Magnusson scoring an equaliser, then with a minute in the half time break, they got their second through Nicola Vlasic.

Ejuke was introduced for Tiknizyan in the 64th for his first Derby match since joining the club from Dutch side SC Heerenveen.

Ejuke justified the decision of the coach to bring him on as he scored the third goal from a powerful counter-attack.
