Chelsea still keen to sign Osimhen from Napoli

Chelsea are reportedly keeping a watch on Victor Osimhen despite rumours of a move to Liverpool being agreed.

The Nigeria international is yet to commit to a new contract at Napoli and ongoing issues at the the Serie A champions has cast his future in doubt.

Osimhen will have one-year remaining on his contract next summer in case a new contract is not signed by the end of the current campaign.

According to TEAMtalk, Chelsea are going through their options for 2024 and the striker is very high on their list of targets, and they have ‘noted’ the recent issues he has encountered with the Sicilian giants.

There are reports Liverpool have agreed personal terms with the 24-year-old.

That however won’t stop Chelsea and other interested clubs from making a move for the player.

Osimhen is currently sidelined with the the thigh injury he picked on international duty less than a week ago.

He has scored six times in 10 appearances across all competitions for the Partenopei this season.
