English international Morgan Rogers has touted Chelsea as the biggest club in London after joining the Blues.

The 23-year-old joined Chelsea in a staggering £117 million deal from Aston Villa this summer.

Rogers penned a seven-year deal with Xabi Alonso's side, ending speculation about interest from Arsenal and other Premier League rivals.

Speaking after his unveiling, Rogers insisted that he was convinced by Chelsea's new project under Xabi Alonso.

He added that he is joining the biggest club in London, potentially aiming a dig at Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and the other clubs in the English capital.

"I'm joining the biggest club in London," Rogers said in the club's announcement (via Chelseafc.com).

"The way the club wants to go and how it wants to move forward is something I want to be a part of. I think it was just perfect for me.

"I'm really excited about the project with the new manager, the players we've got and where the club is heading. That's why I'm here, and I can't wait to get started."
