Manchester United and Chelsea have qualified for next season's Champions League after finishing third and fourth respectively on the Premier League table on the final day of the 2019/20 season.

United made the cut tied on 66points with Frank Lampard's Blue side who beat Wolves 2-0 but the Red Devils finished the season third by goal difference.

Bruno Fernandes' well-taken penalty after a foul on Anthony Martial and a gift to Jesse Lingard helped Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men complete a double over Brendan Rodgers' Foxes at the King Power Stadium. The game ended 2-0.

Leicester who sat third before the break dropped momentum and paid for their lackluster displays having lost five matches since the restart. They will settle for the Europa league.

Mason Mount and Olivier Giroud gave Chelsea the much-needed three points after netting two goals late in the first half against Wolves.

Meanwhile, Watford and Bournemouth joined Norwich in relegation on the last day of the season.

A tough 3-2 defeat against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium sealed the drop for Watford.

Although Bournemouth secured a 3-1 win against Everton, they were unfortunately relegated after Aston Villa held West Ham to a 1-1 draw to stay up.
