Odion Jude Ighalo is one of the fine attacking talents Nigeria has ever produced.
He's well-known in the Premier League for his successful spell at English club Watford from 2014 to 2017 where he netted 37 goals for The Hornets

The only Nigerian to play for Manchester United
On January 31, 2020, Odion Ighalo joined Premier League giants Manchester United on loan until the end of the season.
He became the first Nigerian and the seventh African to play for the Red Devils.
Ighalo made his full debut for United in their Europa League round-of-32 second-leg match against Club Brugge on February 27, 2020.
He scored his first United goal in the same encounter, a goal which turned out to be his maiden goal in European competition, as the hosts won 5–0.
Ighalo made a total of 12 appearances at Old Trafford.
2019 AFCON top scorer
Ighalo was the top scorer in the 2019 AFCON hosted by Egypt.
Ighalo was instrumental to coach Gernot Rohr’s side; he scored against Burundi, Cameroon, Algeria, and Tunisia to guide the Super Eagles to a third-place finish.
He scored seven goals to emerge as the top scorer in the continental competition.
Super Eagles hat-trick hero
Ighalo is among 11 players to have found the back of the net for the Super Eagles at least 3 times in a single game.
He scored thrice when Nigeria thumped Libya by 4-0 in an AFCON qualifier in October 2018.
The 33-year-old scored in the 4th, 58th, and 69th minutes as the three-time African champions overpowered the north African side.
16 international goals for Nigeria
Odion Ighalo has scored a total of 16 international goals for the Super Eagles in 37 caps. Ighalo is tied on international goals with Eagles captain Ahmed Musa. He is currently ranked 8th on Nigeria's all-time top scorer's chart.
