Victor Osimhen will be heading to the Spanish capital after Napoli were drawn with record holders Real Madrid in the soon-to-start UEFA Champions League group stages.
In the company of Real Madrid, the prolific Nigerian striker will lead the charge for his team against Portugal's Braga and Champions League newcomers Union Berlin.
Osimhen's performance will be closely watched, especially when Napoli faces a star-studded Madrid side known for possessing arguably the world's best midfield, per Soccernet.ng.
Napoli, who won the Italian Serie A title for the first time in 33 years last season, are expected to play second-fiddle to the La Liga giants, who last won the competition in 2022, according to Football Espana.
But Luis Castro's men will take inspiration from last season, where the Partenopei reached the Champions League quarterfinals, and similar expectations are set for their performance this season, if not higher.
