Cape Verde's national team goalkeeper, Josimar Dias Vozinha is disappointed his side couldn't edge Nigeria to a victory in the recent FIFA World Cup qualifying game at the Teslim Balogun Stadium despite putting up a stellar performance.

The Blue Sharks got a point out of that decisive fixture, however, that wasn't enough to take them through to the final phase of qualifiers.

Speaking to Brila.net, the AEL Limassol goalkeeper stressed that the game was tough as envisioned by virtue of the quality of the opposition they faced in the Super Eagles.

He added that would have been nice to win and qualify but that he can only hope the next generation of players in Cape Verde can exceed their effort and result posted in world cup qualifying.
