CWG 22: Nigeria lead Africa’s medal chart with 30 medals, see full list

Team Nigeria is currently leading Africa’s medal chart for countries participating in the ongoing Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

With 30 medals, Nigeria did four better than South Africa with 26 medals.

The team has won 9 Gold, 8 Silver and 13 Bronze medals while South Africa has picked 7 Gold, 8 Silver and 11 Bronze.

Kenya is third on the chart with 16 medals which include 4 Gold, 5 Silver and 7 Bronze.

Nigeria made a significant leap in the chart on Friday, August 6 winning 16 medals - seven gold, three silver and six bronze.

The team consists of only 50 athletes while more than 100 athletes represent Ghana in the games.
