Former Super Eagles captain Austine Okocha has said he is delighted to be back at Bolton Wanderer's Reebok stadium after featuring in a charity game.

Okocha, who had a successful spell with Bolton joined other club legends to feature under former coach, Sam Allardyce for a charity game on Sunday.

He scored 18 goals in 144 games for Bolton in his four years at the club between 2002 and 2006.

The former Nigerian captain has been compared to the likes of Ivan Campo, Fernando Hierro, and Youri Djorkaeff.

Speaking after the charity game, Okocha said Bolton will always remain in his heart.

“It’s great to be back, I have fantastic memories of this place and it will continue to be in my heart. I’m just delighted to be back here,” he said.

Okocha joined the Club as a free agent in 2002 after his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expired.
