Sevilla forward Akor Jerome Adams has opened up on his maiden call-up to the Super Eagles.
Akor was named in Eric Chelle's final 23-man squad for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Benin Republic.
The 24-year-old earned his first national team invitation following his impressive performance for Sevilla in the Spanish La Liga.
Akor was on target when Sevilla thrashed La Liga title holders Barcelona 4-1 at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan last weekend.
Sharing his reaction on his maiden call-up, Akor said.
“I don’t think there is a breaking in, personally. I just have to give what I can for the team. In general, whoever’s playing, we give support. And if you’re called upon by the coach, you do your best,” Akor told the Super Eagles media.
