Chelsea Football Club has reportedly parted ways with head coach Enzo Maresca.

The Italian tactician leaves Stamford Bridge amid growing tension between him and the club’s hierarchy in recent times.

Strasbourg manager Liam Rosenior is expected to take over the vacant role at Stamford Bridge.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano made this disclosure in a latest post via X on Thursday, January 1.

“Chelsea will appoint a new manager very soon; it’s not going to take weeks or a long time. The club is now working on it.

“Liam Rosenior, highly rated internally after an excellent job at Strasbourg, is among the contenders.

“A decision will be made in days; it won’t take long.”
