Atalanta director Tony D’Amico has stated that the club will make a decision concerning Ademola Lookman's situation.

The reigning African Footballer of the Year returned to Atalanta's training grounds last week after skipping training for two weeks in protest against the club's decision not to sanction his transfer to Inter Milan.

Atalanta rejected Inter Milan's €45 million bid for the 27-year-old, as La Dea demanded at least €50 million for the Super Eagles winger.

The Nigerian international is expected to face disciplinary action for missing training for two weeks.

Lookman was left out of the Atalanta squad for the Serie A opener against Pisa last weekend.

“We are sorry for everyone, but right now this is the situation. We’ll make assessments at the end of the transfer window. As of today, there’s disappointment,” he was quoted by TMW.

Lookman has two years remaining on his current deal with Atalanta.
