World Heavyweight Champion, Anthony Joshua, may risk losing his IBF belt if he fails to agree terms with mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev before the end of January.

Joshua who recently recovered his belts from Andy Ruiz Jr in December may have to suspend plans on his desired fights with Deontey Wilder and Tyson Fury if he cherishes his IBF belt.

An IBF spokesperson told Sky Sports: 'I have just been told that the Pulev and Joshua camps have asked until January 31 to negotiate.'

If he fails to agree conditions for a fight he could lose the belt.

According to DailyMail, Joshua will also have to make room to face Oleksandr Usyk before long, as he is the mandatory challenger to his WBO title.
