Ajayi calls for positive vibes from Nigerians ahead AFCON qualifiers

Super Eagles defender, Semi Ajayi has urged Nigerians to exhibit more positivity ahead of the AFCON qualifiers fixture against the Squirrels of Benin this weekend.

He made the statement off the back of the negative emotions that trailed the team after their disappointing draw against Sierra Leone in the last round of matches.

Ajayi speaking in a chat with brila.net said the players already have their minds switched and set on the upcoming games against Benin republic and Lesotho and as such already have a positive mindset going into these games.

“We can’t continue to perpetuate those negative emotions, we need to start thinking positively so and that’s what we are looking to do. We are looking to going into the game with a positive mindset to make sure that we get the job done and qualify for the AFCON."
