Goalkeeper Adebayo Adeleye says he’s gradually settling into the Super Eagles and is happy with the harmony in the team.

Adeleye was on the bench as Super Eagles started their 2023 African Cup Nations qualifiers on a positive note.

The Super Eagles beat Sierra Leone and Sao Tome respectively to move to the top of Group A.

Despite not tasting a minute of action in both games, the 22-year-old shot-stopper, who was one of many new invitees by Jose Peseiro, said he’s gradually settling in and praised the team’s effort.

“Gradually getting into the mix with the Super Eagles and I’m really happy for Victor Osimhen the golden boy, and the entire team for their support,” Adeleye said.

“Excited with the back-to-back wins and the historical result against São Tomé. Thank you all for the support as well.” He said.

The former Golden Eaglets player will be hoping to be in the squad when Coach Jose Peseiro announces his squad for the double header against Guinea Bissau in September.
