Former assistant coach of Nigeria’s men basketball national team D’Tigers Mohammed Abdulrahman has stated that he is hopeful that the Nigeria Basketball Federation will come up with a plan on the competition for the remainder of the year after the lifting of restrictions on contact sports.

Abdulrahman speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the lifting of restrictions couldn’t have come at a better time when everything looked like nothing will happen again this year.He added that the lifting of restrictions on contact sports is one goof enough to retain hopes of competitive engagement before the end of the year 2020.

“It couldn’t have come at a better time when the year is running out and everybody is beginning to think you know are we going to have whole year not been able to do any sporting activity so I think it’s a great development and I welcome the news with a big smile on my face. We already have our program in place right before the lockdown and so all we have to do is go back and try to follow it through only this time it may not be as thorough as we were going to do earlier because we had so much time, we may have to gatecrash it a little bit.”
