AFCON: This prophet predicted Super Eagles exit; says 'Arab African' country will win tournament

A Nigerian pastor who is yet to be identified has shared his thoughts on who could be the possible winner of the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon.

Speaking to a congregation, the pastor said “Nigeria will do very well, but the shoulders cannot be taller than the head. When there is a fight in the house, it will be difficult for you to go and win a battle and come back.”

Nigeria will do very well but not good enough,” he stressed.

Prophesying the winner of the tournament, he said: "The Nations cup will be lifted by an Arab African country. And on the day of the finals, the player that shall fetch the cup for them shall be player number 10. He will trigger the victory.”

He noted that host "Cameroon will play before the finals but not the finals” which indicates that the Indomitable Lions will play for third place.

The Super Eagles lost their second-round tie against Tunisia in Garoua.

Tunisia, Morocco and Egypt are the only North African teams remaining in the tournament.

Tunisia will face rivals Morocco in the quarter-finals.
