Super Eagles players and coaching staff are refusing to travel to Marrakech over unpaid bonuses. BBC Africa journalist Oluwashina Okeleji, who is in Morocco, reported this development.

Nigeria is scheduled to face Algeria in the quarter-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations on Saturday evening. However, it is understood that they have not received their bonuses for the four matches played so far.

Nigeria secured wins against Tanzania, Tunisia, and Uganda in the group stage, and they defeated Mozambique 4-0 in the Round of 16.

The team has decided against travelling or training further until the bonus dispute is resolved.
