The Super Eagles of Nigeria have touched down in Guinea-Bissau ahead of their second game of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Eric Chelle’s side will be hoping to build on their winning momentum as they take on the Djurtus on Tuesday, September 29.

The 2013 AFCON winners began their campaign with a 2-1 victory over Madagascar at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Friday, September 25.

Nigeria had to come from a goal down to turn the game on its head, courtesy of goals from debutants George Ilenikhena and Moses Uzor.

Guinea-Bissau, on the other hand, beat Tanzania by two goals to nil in their opening game and currently sit at the top of Group L, ahead of Nigeria in second place.

A video shared by the Super Eagles’ official X account shows the moment the team departed Nigeria and landed in Guinea-Bissau.

The team held a recovery session on Saturday morning after their victory over Madagascar before holding another training session on Sunday ahead of their departure from Nigeria.
