The Super Eagles of Nigeria will trade tackles with Guinea-Bissau for top spot in Group L of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers later today (Tuesday, September 29).

The Wild Dogs will host Eric Chelle’s side at the Estádio Nacional 24 de Setembro in Bissau, with kick-off scheduled for 4:00 pm local time (5:00 pm Nigerian time).

Both teams come into the game on the back of victories in their opening qualifiers.

Nigeria edged Madagascar 2-1 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Friday, September 25.

Guinea-Bissau, on the other hand, also beat Tanzania by two goals to nil in Zanzibar.

The Djurtus currently lead Group L with three points and a goal difference of plus two, while Nigeria follow closely in second place with three points and a goal difference of plus one.

The winner of today’s encounter will secure outright top spot in the group.
