Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman has stated that he is not concerned about winning individual awards following Nigeria's rout of Mozambique in the round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Lookman starred as the Super Eagles thumped the Mambas 4-0 at the Complexe Sportif de Fes on Monday, January 5.

The Atalanta forward is a candidate for the Player of the Tournament award at the ongoing AFCON in Morocco.

The 28-year-old has registered three goals and five assists in three appearances in the competition for the Super Eagles so far.

Only Morocco's Brahim Diaz has scored more goals (4) in the competition than the former African Footballer of the Year.

According to Lookman, his main focus is on helping the team and not on individual honours.

“Personally, I’m just thinking about the team. Now we are in the quarterfinals; our next opponent is going to be another strong team. We scored four goals, another big performance for the team, so that’s what I care about,” he said after the game.
