Taiwo Awoniyi will miss Super Eagles 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe due to injury, completesports.com can exclusively report.

Awoniyi picked up the injury in the game against Lesotho in Uyo on Thursday.

The Nottingham Forest striker was spotted at the Uyo local airport on Friday, 17 November, limping a bit as he was about to catch a flight to Lagos where he will head to England.
