A total of 21 teams have secured qualification for the 2025 African Cup of Nations tournament following the completion of Monday's fixtures.

Gernot Rohr's Benin Republic and Sudan became the latest teams to cement their place at the next edition of the Nations Cup.

Benin held Libya to a goalless draw away from home to secure a second-place finish behind Nigeria in Group D.

Sudan also booked their ticket after holding Group F winners Angola to a goalless draw, qualifying ahead of Niger and Ghana.

These two countries join the likes of Morocco, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Algeria, DR Congo, Senegal, Egypt, Angola, Gabon, Uganda, and South Africa, who have already qualified.

The other countries include Nigeria, Comoros, Equatorial Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire, Zimbabwe, Mali, Zambia, and Tunisia.

This means three slots are still up for grabs.

Morocco will host the next edition of the AFCON from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
