2023 AFCONQ: 'It will be difficult to beat Sao Tome and Principe 10-0 again' - Peseiro

Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro claimed it will be difficult to repeat their previous big win against Sao Tome and Principe.

Peseiro’s men defeated the True Patriots 10-0 in the reverse fixture last June.

The Super Eagles will take on same opponent in their final 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Sunday.

The Portuguese warned it will be difficult to have a repeat of the scoreline or better it.

“We want to win this game. We occupy top position in our group and want to finish there,” Peseiro told a press conference.

“We beat them (Sao Tome and Principe) in the first leg but it will be difficult to have a repeat of same scoreline.

The encounter will kick-off at 5pm.
