‘Peter Obi will be a fabulous President; I am so proud of him’ – Omokri's old videos pop up

Old videos of Reno Omokri, media aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan hailing Peter Obi for his good works as the ex-Governor of Anambra state has resurfaced.

Reno Omokri is a known verbal attacker of the Labour Party Presidential candidate. His constant backlash at Peter Obi has since warranted several clapbacks from Obidients.

In a video shared on social media, Reno said Peter Obi would make a fabulous President as he is convinced with his impeccable records, he would turn Nigeria into a country like Dubai in a matter of years.

He said; “If you ask me who do I think will make the best President, I will say and its going to upset a lot of people, but I will say Peter Obi. Peter Obi will be a fabulous president. If Peter Obi were to be the President of Nigeria, Nigeria will be like Dubai in a matter of years.”

Another video which surfaced, showed Omokri singing the praises of Peter Obi in an interview he made with the former Governor after the National Prayer Breakfast programme in Washington DC.

According to him, Peter Obi raised the bar of leadership in Nigeria. Adding that he built up Anambra state and restored the educational sector of Anambra state in less than two years.

Expressing how proud he is of Peter Obi, he said Nigeria needs a man like Peter Obi.

“Washington DC, National Prayer breakfast. I listen to ex-Governor Peter Obi and the plans, the ideas, this man raised the bar of leadership in Nigeria. Since he left office, this man does not take anything not even a pay from the Anambra state Government. And while he was there, he was a man that built up Anambra state. Anambra state used to be educationally disadvantaged and in less than two years he brought them to be number one. He left that state with a reserve. We need people like this man. I am so proud of Peter Obi.”

Many wonder why Reno Omokri who once sang praises of Peter Obi will have a change of heart and begin to slander him.
