‘Atiku lacks credibility to lead’ – Group

A pro-Tinubu support group, One Yoruba Now for Tinubu, has said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, lacks credibility to lead Nigeria.

In a statement by National Coordinator and National Secretary, Oni Adeniyi and Owolabi Marius, in Ibadan, Oyo State, the group said: “We are urging youths not to vote Atiku as president, as he will do more harm to the country.

“Atiku will cause more division, which is likely to break the country, as this will give secessionists an edge to cause unrest because the South will feel enslaved to be ruled again by another northerner …

“It will be a brilliant step if youths can jettison Atiku to vote for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, who is youth-friendly and has belief in the power of youths to build the nation.

“Nigerians should vote for Tinubu, who has success stories in government, unlike Atiku, who failed at every contest…

“He failed in 2011 when he contested as president on the platform of defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN). Also, in 2019 when he contested… He has also failed to unite his party…” it said.
