The Lagos State Police Command says it has uncovered a suspected high-tech indoor cannabis farm at a residential property in Apapa, following an intelligence-led operation.

Police said officers searched the premises at about 8:15 a.m. on November 2, 2026, after receiving credible information. They found a sophisticated indoor facility equipped to cultivate, harvest and process substances suspected to be cannabis.

Two residents of the property were arrested: Thomas Razvickas, 49, a Polish national, and James Chisome, 36, a Nigerian. The suspects are in police custody and have made statements as investigators continue their inquiries, according to the Command.

Lagos State Commissioner of Police Tijani Fatai visited the scene to inspect the facility, assess the operation and receive an update on the investigation. He commended the officers and reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to combating drug-related offences and dismantling criminal networks.
