Former Italian international Marco Borriello has recommended that Italian Serie A giants Juventus sign Victor Osimhen.

The Bianconeri are eager to sign an elite striker to help the club return to the top of European football.

According to Borriello, Osimhen’s physicality and experience in Serie A make him an ideal target for the Old Lady.

“I want a great number nine. Osimhen? Maybe. He’s strong, he knows Serie A and Spalletti. But beyond Osimhen, we need a top-level striker,” Borriello told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

In 133 appearances for Napoli across all competitions, Osimhen scored 76 goals and provided 18 assists during his spell with the club.

The Super Eagles striker helped Napoli end their 33-year wait for the Scudetto in the 2022/23 Serie A campaign.

The former African Footballer of the Year has scored nine goals and provided three assists in nine appearances across all competitions this season.
