Nigeria winger Samuel Chukwueze will be sidelined for at least two months with a hip injury.
Chukwueze sustained the injury in the build-up to the Rossoneri's UEFA Europa League clash against Bournemouth on Thursday.
According to Corriere della Sera, via MilanNews, the Nigeria international has already seen a specialist over the injury and has commenced treatment.
The 27-year-old is expected to be reassessed in 10 to 15 days but will be back in action by the end of the year.
Chukwueze has featured regularly for the Serie A giants this season after returning from his loan spell with Premier League club Fulham.
