Brighton & Hove Albion manager Fabian Hürzeler has urged patience with Nigerian international Femi Azeez.

The 25-year-old is yet to make his competitive debut for Brighton since joining the club from Millwall in the summer.

Azeez reportedly joined the Seagulls with a minor hamstring injury sustained during pre-season with the Sky Bet Championship side.

The Super Eagles winger has reportedly made significant progress in his recovery and even featured in a friendly during the international break.

Addressing questions about why Azeez is yet to feature for the club, Hürzeler said the former Reading man was not ready for action, urging patience with the player.

“With Femi, again we have to be patient with him. It's not quite clear how long it will take. It seems to be not a big issue, but therefore we have to be patient,” the manager told a press conference.
