Nigeria international, Akor Adams, scored the decisive goal as Venezia secured a stunning 1-0 victory over Napoli in their Serie A clash on Saturday.

Adams found the back of the net four minutes into the second half, handing Venezia their first league win of the campaign.

The striker capitalised on a long ball from Simon Sohm, holding off Napoli defender Amir Rrahmani before unleashing a powerful effort that took a deflection off the defender and beat goalkeeper Alex Meret.

The goal was Adams’ second of the season for Venezia and proved enough to end the club’s six-match losing streak in the league.

Despite the crucial victory, Venezia remain rooted to the bottom of the Serie A table with three points.
