Barcelona defender Pau Cubarsí has hailed Victor Osimhen ahead of their crucial UEFA Champions League clash against Galatasaray.

The Yellow and Reds will host the Spanish champions at RAMS Park in a mammoth UCL clash later today (Tuesday, October 13).

It will be the second time Cubarsí, who won the Young Best Player award at the 2026 World Cup, will face Osimhen following their first meeting in 2024.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, the 19-year-old described Osimhen as one of the best strikers in the world.

“In my first match a few years ago, I played against Victor Osimhen. We expect to face an opponent who knows what he wants to do in attack,” the World Cup winner said.

“It will be clear that they are playing at home. Osimhen is one of the best forwards in the world.

“We will do our best to ensure he doesn’t cause us any trouble tomorrow night.”
