Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has praised Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen ahead of his side’s UEFA Champions League clash with Galatasaray.

The Blaugrana will take on the Turkish Süper Lig giants on Tuesday, October 13, in their matchday two fixture in the UCL.

Osimhen, who returned to action after spending a month on the sidelines due to injury, came off the bench last Friday to provide an assist as Galatasaray beat Kasımpaşa 3-1 at home.

Barcelona, on the other hand, secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Getafe at Spotify Camp Nou on Saturday, October 10.

Speaking ahead of the crucial UCL clash, Flick warned his side to be wary of the quality Galatasaray possess.

“We’ll be playing against Galatasaray on Tuesday,” Flick said.

“We’ll be playing in the world’s loudest stadium. We need to prepare for that. This is the Champions League, it’s different. Every team in the Champions League is very good.”

The German tactician also described Victor Osimhen as a fantastic striker.

“Galatasaray have a fantastic striker like Osimhen; they really have a great squad. We need to be ready for this match. We must play our best football against Galatasaray,” he said.
