Super Eagles new star Moses Usor has revealed his admiration for international teammate Moses Simon.

The LASK winger announced himself to Nigerians with his Puskás-worthy solo goal against Madagascar during the Super Eagles’ Africa Cup of Nations qualifying opener on Friday, September 25.

The 24-year-old, who came on as a substitute in the second half, needed just four minutes to make his impact felt on his international debut.

In a recent interview with Footy-Africa, Usor named Moses Simon as the Nigerian player he wants to emulate.

The Paris FC winger won his 100th international cap for Nigeria in the same game against the Indian Ocean islanders.

“I want to be like Moses Simon — his consistency, his humility, his commitment to the team over so many seasons,” Usor said.

“It’s special to share the name Moses and go through this night with him. Getting to 100 caps for Nigeria is a massive achievement.”
