Presidential aide O'tegra Ogra has said President Bola Tinubu can travel freely to America, unlike former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

Ogra said this after Atiku's camp mocked Tinubu's decision to snub the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

Vice President Kashim Shettima will represent Tinubu at the event.

Reacting to Atiku camp's mockery, Ogra asked Atiku to provide evidence of his presence in the U.S. since 2019/

He shared on X, "Someone whose entry into the United States in 2019 was made possible only by a temporary suspension of a travel ban linked to decade-old bribery scandals, according to Reuters, and whose name and that of his then-wife, Jennifer Douglas (Atiku), appeared in US corruption investigations, is crying premium tears about a man who can travel to America whenever he wishes and has done so more than once, publicly and privately, before and since becoming President.

"Alhaji @Atiku, how market? Can you show us a single evidence of you in the US before or after the temporary permit to visit the US ahead of the 2019 elections?"
