Manchester United have reportedly decided to loan out youngster Chido Obi-Martin this summer following a series of assessments by the club.

According to reports, Michael Carrick and his technical team believe it would be difficult to guarantee the young striker of Nigerian descent regular playing minutes in the coming season.

Tipsbladet reports that Manchester United prefer sending Obi-Martin on loan to another European club rather than a club in the Sky Bet Championship.

United want a club where the youngster will get regular playing minutes without high physical risk.

Michael Carrick is currently heading into the new season with the likes of Benjamin Šeško, Matheus Cunha, and Bryan Mbeumo all available to lead the attack for the Red Devils.

Obi-Martin was left out of the squad during Manchester United's recent win over Atlético Madrid in a pre-season friendly.
