The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, AEDC, has announced a fresh power outage affecting parts of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Abuja.
The distribution company disclosed this in a notice issued on Tuesday.
AEDC said the outage affected Usuma Street, Off Gana Street, Zenith Bank, H-Medix, and their surrounding areas in Maitama, Abuja.
According to the company, the outage was caused by a fault in its high-voltage underground cable.
“We wish to inform you that the current power outage is due to a fault in a high-voltage underground cable,” AEDC stated.
DAILY POST reports that electricity consumers have also complained of power outages in Apo Resettlement, Wuye, and other parts of Abuja since Monday.
