Spanish La Liga champions FC Barcelona have officially announced the signing of Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund.

The Catalan club announced the Germany international in a deal worth up to €29 million, including add-ons.

The German international, who has Nigerian heritage, becomes the second summer signing of the club after completing a move for Anthony Gordon last month.

The versatile forward signed a five-year deal with Hansi Flick's side.

"Adeyemi becomes a new Barca player for the next five seasons, until June 30, 2031," the club said in a statement.

Hansi Flick gave Adeyemi his international debut for the Germany national team back in 2021.

Barca see Adeyemi as a quality addition to their forward line, joining the likes of Raphinha, Lamine Yamal and Anthony Gordon.
