Asisat Oshoala, Rasheedat Ajibade, and Chiamaka Nnadozie were among the first players to report to the Super Falcons’ training camp in Casablanca, Morocco, ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Also present in camp are defenders Glory Ogbonna, Oluwatosin Demehin, Rofiat Imuran, and Shukurat Oladipo, as well as midfielder Christy Ucheibe and goalkeeper Fatima Oloko.
The Super Falcons officially opened camp in Casablanca on Monday as preparations got underway for the continental showpiece.
Sixteen more players are expected to arrive in camp over the coming days as head coach Justine Madugu assembles his full squad for the competition.
The Super Falcons will relocate to Rabat before the start of the tournament, which runs from 26 July to 16 August 2026.
The defending champions will kick off their Group C campaign against the Scorchers of Malawi at the Al Madina Stadium, Rabat, on Tuesday, 28 July.
They will also face the Copper Queens of Zambia and Egypt in the group stage as they bid to retain the WAFCON title.
