Ekiti Guber: Uba Sani accepts key APC role, vows landslide victory for Oyebanji

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has accepted his appointment as Chairman of the National Campaign Council for the forthcoming Ekiti State governorship election.

The development was disclosed in a statement issued by the governor following the inauguration of the council by the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda.

According to Sani, the campaign council will work with party leaders, stakeholders and supporters across Ekiti State to mobilise support for the re-election of Governor Biodun Oyebanji.

Sani said the party was confident of victory, citing Oyebanji’s record in office and the support he enjoys among party stakeholders.

“Our shared goal is to orchestrate a successful campaign that culminates in a resounding victory for Governor Biodun Oyebanji,” Sani stated.

The Kaduna governor said the party had already established structures across the 16 local government areas and 177 wards in the state ahead of the election.

According to him, the involvement of youths, women and other stakeholders would play a key role in the campaign effort.

“We have laid a robust foundation, with strong grassroots structures established across all 16 Local Government Areas and 177 wards,” he said.

Sani also expressed appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for what he described as his leadership and support for the growth of the APC.

“I extend my heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his visionary leadership and steadfast commitment to national development,” he stated.

He further thanked the APC leadership for the confidence reposed in him and pledged to work with members of the campaign council to secure victory for the party in the election.
