Manchester City striker, Erling Haaland, on Saturday, surpassed Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane after scoring a hat-trick for the Cityzens in the FA Cup.
Recall that Haaland scored three goals against Liverpool in the FA Cup quarter-final tie at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
The encounter ended 4-0 in favour of the hosts as Pep Guardiola’s side progressed to the FA Cup semi-final stage.
However, according to OptaJoe, since Haaland’s Manchester City debut in July 2022, the Norway international has scored 12 hat-tricks across all competitions.
He is now the outright most heart trick scorer across Europe’s big five leagues, moving one clear of Kane (11).
Haaland will hope to continue his brilliant display for Man City when they take on Chelsea in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge next weekend.
