Tottenham Hotspur are actively pursuing Roberto De Zerbi as their next head coach after parting ways with Igor Tudor, marking another dramatic twist in what has already been a tumultuous campaign at Tottenham Hotspur.

Tudor’s brief tenure, just 44 days in charge, ended on March 29, 2026, after a run of poor results left Spurs near the relegation zone in the Premier League and sparked intense fan and boardroom pressure.

According to Sky in Italy on Monday, “Roberto de Zerbi is open to joining Tottenham Hotspur as head coach now.”

De Zerbi, who has been out of management since leaving Olympique de Marseille in February, is now open to taking the job immediately, rather than waiting until the summer as previously thought.

There is reportedly a “growing belief” within Tottenham that the Italian could be persuaded to take over before the end of this season, as the club seeks stability and tactical leadership amid their ongoing struggles.
