Coventry City manager Frank Lampard has provided the latest update on Frank Onyeka's injury situation ahead of their next fixture.

The Super Eagles midfielder sustained an injury during Coventry City's victory over Stoke City last week.

Onyeka was substituted in the 55th minute and was replaced by Victor Torp.

Ahead of the upcoming game, Lampard disclosed that the midfielder is suffering from fatigue.

“Yeah, I’m not sure. I think it’s a lot of fatigue and maybe a bit of a knock. He was struggling a bit, so he had to come off,” Lampard told CoventryLive.

Onyeka, 28, has been impressive since joining Coventry City on loan from Brentford for the rest of the season.
